November 15, 2016
The Officers and Board of Directors of the NH Fire Prevention Society are pleased to write to you today as we close 2016 and get ready to enter 2017. It was another successful year for our organization with our support of many initiatives supporting our purpose which is to: “Unite for mutual benefit the members of the Society engaged in the Fire Prevention and Code Enforcement and to promote cooperation and assistance among interested groups through education and communication.”
Some or our accomplishments this past year were:
- We sponsored several training sessions held at the NH Fire Academy
- Flashover / Sprinkler demo for the Eastern States Bldg. Officials spring training conference
- Sponsored NFPA, NHFSC, and IAAI seminars
- And we are having a December Year-end Social on December 6, 2016 at Paddy’s American Grille in Portsmouth in celebration of our successful year
As we enter 2017, we will continue to support these and future programs which provide for the expanding knowledge of the Fire Prevention and Investigation Community. We strive to deliver timely Inspection and Investigation training on a monthly basis throughout the year. Check the Society’s web site regularly to see what topics are being presented. As always, we welcome your input on which training events you would like to see us bring to the area.
The Board is encouraged with the amount of interest in our organization and the willingness to assist in future planning. To that end we are encouraging all of you to take a minute to send in the enclosed invoice for your membership renewal. This will allow us to continue to provide a quality program for a nominal price. This year we have online dues renewal for those who would prefer paying by credit card: http://tinyurl.com/NHFPS-Dues.
Thank you again for your support.
